Welcome to Pinellas Embroidery; operated by former members of Paradise Embroidery in Seminole, FL. Founded in 2011, our journey has been one of creativity, craftsmanship, and community.While original owners (Nancy & Jay) retired shortly after the pandemic, a new chapter begins with graduated leadership taken on by former full-time staff - Katie, who now leads our team with passion and vision.Whether you're looking to embroider corporate attire, sports team uniforms, or personalized gifts, our skilled team ensures every stitch is perfect. Employment Application

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Interacting with visiting patrons, and offering menu recommendations.
Entering local transactions and third-party orders into our point of sale system.
Building custom submarine sandwiches according to recipes and specifications.
Preparing food setups, restocking supply coolers, and reconciling stock lists.
Upholding cleanliness standards throughout: prep area, dining room, bathrooms, etc.
Maintaining oversight of the work areas, equipment, dining room, and trash bins.
Assisting with Prep tasks, as needed (assigned by Back of House, from time to time).
Moving quickly by foot, for up to 8 hours. Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
MINIMUM EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:
Clean, attractive and approachable appearance. Friendly attitude and comm skills.
Excellent verbal, social, and interpersonal communication skills; working on a team.
Multi-tasking ability to work in fast paced environment without being distracted.
Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and live within 30m of central Pinellas County.
Familiarity using Email online, IM Chat (Slack), and other workflow systems (Apps).
Own a smartphone + computer & real bank account (payroll by direct deposit only).
Must pass a drug test, and not be on medication inhibiting cognitive reasoning.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
Historic processional experience working at a local or chain restaurant eatery.
Certifications for food handling or kitchen safety practices, or Inventory management.
Experience with related short-order services; order ticketing, food prep, etc.
SCHEDULE AND AVAILABILITY:
Normal shifts are 6-8 hours, with 3-6 days assigned on schedule.
Full-Time: 5-6 days @ 32+ hours / Part-Time: 3-4 days @ 24-32 hours.
Closed: New Years, Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.
Training: 4+ weeks paid, hands-on instruction & development in-shop.
1099-contractor for 30-day probationary period; W2 employee after.
